  • Affordability Pressure – The 30-year fixed mortgage rate is hovering around 7%, which is sidelining some would-be buyers and stretching others thin.

Even in high-demand areas like Rancho Mission Viejo, Ladera Ranch, and Dana Point, homes are taking longer to sell — especially if they’re overpriced or not properly prepared for the market.
